History and gripes

In WW1 the planes were very light. They were made of spruce and canvas and tin. They could be picked up by a strong person.  Engines were unreliable but handy. A mounted gun never helps. It would be much more effective to drop a mushy tomato, I told them that, but does anyone listen? Oh no, no-one even pays any attention to me! It's too hot, the field is too dusty, the bat is too heavy, the gloves make me itchy, the pitcher's mound is too low, blah blah blah blah blah gripe complain whine annoy and by the way I don't know why Sopwhip Camels are called that.
