Banana Essay

The history of bananas
A reportive essay
I don’t know more than one person who denies Bananas taste quite good. Although, Most people never thing about the history of the young yellow yield. Its excellent taste and attractive look has lured munchers since the eatable banana was grown from a mix of 2 wild inedible bananas types.
The word “Banana” came from its Guinean name, “Banema”.
Ancient bits
There are some theories on where it originated, top botanists agree that the banana evolved in Malaysia from some unknown crescent-moon shaped prehistoric fruit. The first recording of a banana was when it was referred to in Buddhist scrolls.

Boring bits
Antennas Musa did a lot of promoting cultivation of the tasty object in roman orchards.

minimal day

This morning O'l Mom got me up and we went to sunday school. O'l Mom stayed for a meeting and we were there the whole day. I had a sandwich for lunch and found that it was extrodanarly hot outside. In late afternoon we went for a walk and then came home. At Journeys the lesson involved eating, so it was a very good lesson; it was about times in the New Testament when Jesus multiplied and conjured food.

And weighty wonderful whales!

Today I got up at 5 and spent the morning loafing around. At noon O'l Mom wanted me to got to an exhibit at the NC museum of natural science on marine mammals, mainly marauding manatees. After than O'l Mom and I had lunch and went for a walk at the attractive agreeable arboretum, where we walked. We then went home and I've been lazing about and playing games.

Therapeutic day

Today I got up early in the morning and made something with Tegu blocks and Kapla blocks-O'l Mom did a blog post on them, http://teachingyourmiddleschooler.blogspot.com/2011/01/tegu-because-you-are-never-too-old-for.html and I played around. At noon O'l Mom fixed me some soup and I did some math. I then played around for a while and O'l Mom got me a book to read while I sat in the sun. I read the book and it was pretty good. It's about a city that reeked of corruption, crime, pollution and general evel (London, citra 1830-60). I did my grammer and went out for a walk. After dinner, Dad set off some Snappers and I had a good evening.

A day

Today I got all my work done in the Morning, then went to art class and took a walk. Mom did some shopping and then we went home. I folded an Origami R7-series Astromech droid when Mom took me to book club. Lots of stuff happened there and then Mom went out for a meeting, and I stayed home with Dad and had some soup.

Nice day

Today I went to Learning Arbor. First I had a fun class about writing essays and next I had a class that involved watching hilarious films. 1.17 > 1.09, I think. I also took a shower in the Morning and did some math. In the evening I goofed off and had dinner. Rewarding day!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Today I went to History co-op in the morning. There we talked about the Industrial Revolution and had some christmas pudding. Afternoon I did work on the computer and then I goofed off and walked to the Library. In the evening we went out to eat and I tasted solidified air (also known as Tofu). Nothing else much happened.

This Morning I went to Newspaper Club and we stayed up all morning to write about Easters, sarcophaguses, and rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle. I then followed O'l Mom home after some errands. I wonder what it would be like if I got O'l Mom to obey very simple commands. Then I'd be up talking to her 24-7 saying:

Another day of icy oceans

Today I got up at noon and went ice skating on a medium-size creek that had froze over with thick ice. I fell down 183617295 times and went skating about. My friend and I played some ice tag and fell down ∞ times when we were tryng to chase each other. I went back home after I fell down on the ice so many times that cold and wet ≠ outside for another week, so I came in before I reached that point. O'l Mom fixed me some soup and tea and hot choclate with ○ and then I went to book club and came home.

mysterious connections with blogs and rum

Today I stayed inside all day. O'l Mom set me to the task of cleaning up trash around the computer and sorting out DVDs. That took 4 whiles and a

Oddly, yesterday I mentioned crackens in my last blog, and Dad started watching documentaries about krackens after seeing an add for KRACKEN RUM (R with a little circle around it). Isn't that odd?

Saourkrout und Venderquioushnitzel!

Today the sleet froze overnight, so we stayed indoors all day. O'l Mom wasn't feeling well today and stayed in bed, so I stayed downstairs and watched silent films. I even made O'l Mom 2 potions for her. Dad went out and in and watched me play games. Comment! Comment! Cheese and kracken! Or crackers! Very icy outside. If it doesn't melt before tomorow, I might spend another day inside. Not many complaints there. O'l Mom made me trace westward expansion routes on a map. Sausages!

Some Newbery news

Today I drew a picture of ∞ balloons with boxes of sand tied to them. Try to guess why. That should get me a lot of comments! The Newbery winners got displayed today. None of them were ones that more than 1 person read at my mock Newbery, except for 1 book that 5 people read and didn't like it that much. O'l Mom posted them on her blog. http://teachingyourmiddleschooler.blogspot.com/2011/01/2011-newbery-awards-announced.html I hope that it snows!

CAAAAAAAAAAAROL CROSSSS, THE BEST MOM WHO CAN MAKE SAUCE...

I have the best mom ever! Mom is rather my favorite item at the moment. She is very good and nice and kind and wise and lovely and handy and quiwodfwjed and charming and tasteful and witty and musical and smart and old and humble and queenly and swift and strong and fair and dandy and handy and fast and attractive and nice and wonderful and nice and funny and athletic and beautiful and charming and good! O'l Mom is great! She's the toast of the town! Life's always better when O'l Mom is around! O'l Mom is great! She cannot be beat! If O'l Mom came 'round more, then that would be neat!

My Mock Newberry Top 3 (for me)

#1 is Magic Below Stairs by Carolien Seamister. It's about a footboy who works for a wizard. I like it 'cause it has a lovely style and very entertaining.

#2 is A Whole Nother Story by Dr. Cuthbert Soup. It's about a family that travels around the country being chased by agents with varying degrees of morality. I like it 'cause it's quite funny and exciting and interesting.

#3 is Sir Charlie : Chaplin, The Funniest Man In The World. by Sid Fleischman. It's a biography of Charlie Chaplin, obviously. I like it 'cause it's quite descriptive and informative.

Arrrgghhh! Total lack of plot or context!

I wish I would get more comments! I went to Newspaper club and had lots of fun and then to the last Newberry club meeting of the year, which was terribly exciting. So then I went home and lounged about and watched Mom work her Credenzi to tatters making an elaborate feast for our guest, who was dropping by for a spell to relax. I didn't really do anything requiring bones after dinner (mostly laying on tabletops looking at things on the computer and waiting for nothing at all to happen.)

I totally drove Mom round the bend!

Today Mom set me to cleaning my room so I could get my Christmas presents put away. I made some progress and had a very long break. After lunch, Mom sent me back to cleaning up my room. I made an atom o' progress in the afternoon. And then she sent me to clean the guest's bedroom, so I started this blog on the way there. I got my blog done faster than Mom and really irritated her!

Know what that is?

Monologue about Mom

Mom hasn't been doing much. I think I'll get her into a project separate from mine. She seems to be doing less work lately. Atoll! Mom should Get into working on stuff like I do, like art and food and learning. Mom really hasn't been to enough meetings lately. I hope Spring comes soon, It's more active. Mom probably will go berzerk if she sees this. I often like to make her go haywire.

Hard work ahead!

Anyway, what do you think? I'l be doing lots of projects soon. I thought I need to do stuff like it. I might make something or I might do something like knit a like-size wool shark or do game walkthroughs or make stop-motion films of something else. If I do, you can be sure I'll put something about it on my blog. Mom will go crazy and get really exited when she seizes this. Stay tuned!

A long post

Today I went to Journeys where Mom was teaching. She talked about Christianity and Jesus's childhood, and she had some frankensence and myrth and cedar leaves for us to grind with a mortal&pedestal and everyone who smelled the myrth almost vomitted so I kept away from it. After that we went outside where it started to rain and we all burnt a pece of paper. After that I stayed helping Mom clear up and finally went home. Windows have glass in them and toads make noises like toads. A chameleon once disguised itself as a blender so I didn't see it until it was too late! It depleted the rice vein and got honey all over the floor! A mess! Mess! A! Where were we? Oh yeah, so, as I was saying, microbes cannot stand the taste of soap, But can withstand the immense pressure of public speaking. Sevral geckos, such as the Artanourious prolkertalus Fill themselves with water so that they can withstand pressure up to inaugurations and such on! Parrots can imitate dawgs and dogs and other canines.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Uuuuuggggg, I ate too much. Today was a nice relaxing day. I did stuff on the computer and played games with Mom (Lots of them) and had a good dinner. Mom knitted a sea sponge and some brain coral. Dad ate with me for supper and we had black eyed peas for dinner and Dad told me his tales o' woe. Dad will post them in a comment.
