A vocabulary lesson with anti-grammer writing

Yawn. Oho, the search for something interesting to say! Hmmm... Barbaric comes from a word in greek that sounds like it. The greek word meant something similar to "speaking any language other than greek", which eventually got into "Uncivilized, crude, brutal, impolite" in English. Xanthic-  is an uncommon prefix meaning "yellow, yellowish" in scientific stuffs which likes unbearably uncommon names for common stuff.  Mycology means something to do with fungus, I think, and an xyster is a surgical instrument. Also, a xebec is a small warship.
