A good book

Anyway, yesterday I read HIS MAJESTY'S DRAGON by Naomy Novik and it is a very good book. It is about a captain of a ship when they capture a french splintery rubble heap and find that its cargo is a very valuable dragon egg, which hatches before they can get it to land. Its name is Temeraire and it becomes a good friend of Capt. Will Laurence. The 2 go off to join the air force, and are sent to a scottish island for training and meet other dragons and dragon-riders, like Volatilus with Capt. James, a fast dragon, though simple and ending all his sentences with a ! And Lily with Capt. Harcourt, a old and big dragon who survived heavy wounds in a ambush.

  1. There are six books altogether. I read the first five three times in a row, and then all six again when the sixths one came out this summer. I like warcraft and dragons a lot.

There's a math problem in there somewhere but it's not very amusing. However, dragons invent non-Euclidian geometry at some point in the book, among other things. Their math is not like ours.
