You can say that again! —Sorry I've been absent. Your uncle has been hassling with frozen pipes, burst pipes, exploded heat lamps, shredded tires... We haven't had running water since Friday, and from the look of the weather forecast, our pipes won't thaw out until Wednesday or Thursday. Uggh!
It's been a most eventful year so far. Actually, we hadn't had much snow—until yesterday, when we got what looks like about five inches. Today's challenge: making it to the store in my slip-slidy urban hatchback to get cat food, of which we're out. If I can just get down the driveway...
